Hi Reader!
β
I havenβt been in your inbox in a little while. I am saying βyesβ to an impromptu creation Sabbatical of sorts for the summer.
β
Long story short, I believe God is asking me to take a rest break from creating to just sit at His feet in this season and truly relish in all the incredible redemption He has been doing in my life and to really get in tune with Him again to get clear directions from Him for what is next.
β
As another woman said it the other night, βitβs an unbecoming to becomeβ season. One where Iβm being told to un-learn somethings, re-learn others, allow God to heal, prune, and just let Jesus be my all in all.
β
In preparation of this officially kicking off I added a couple of new emails to my welcome sequence and I thought those of you already on my list would benefit from this new email as well.
β
As some in my great state of Texas are grieving their loved ones from the flooding over the weekend I want to remind you that Jesus is our Source. As I read and saw some of the stuff on social media about those who were directly affected my heart absolutely broke. And as I wrestled and prayed about this tragedy I grabbed hold of Godβs truth - He is with us in all of the broken parts of our hearts and lives. The worst, darkest, and most broken places of us, Jesus is there. And I pray youβd be strengthened by Godβs Word and His Truth today. β
β
So here it is. π
β
I know what it is like to feel like you are alone and in the midst of life's chaos - hopeless, helpless, and in need of saving. And in those moments of fear, frustration, and heartbreak you don't need more of me (or anyone/anything else for that matter).
β
You need more of JESUS. (We all need more of Jesus.)
β
He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one is able to go to the Father except by Him (John 14:6).
β
I may not know what season you are in at this moment (unless you've already emailed me and let me know - thank you if you have! π), and I may not know every detail of your life, but there is someone who does. Jesus. And He is in whatever chaotic storm you find yourself in today. And He is with you!
β
Something I always hope you will remember is:
- You are seen right where you are
- You are heard right where you are
- You are never alone
- You are so incredibly loved right here and right now
β
So if you are in need of some extra encouragement today and want to drive those points home, I invite you to check out some faith articles (aka: emails that I have sent to my subscribers in the past) by clicking the button below:
