πŸ’ƒ The Garment of PRAISE! πŸ’ƒ

Hi Reader!

Did you know the Bible gives us the antidote for a spirit of heaviness?! (**Hint: If you don't already know what it is, the subject of these email gives it away! haha)

If you have been feeling weary, weighed down, and/or discouraged lately my new podcast episode is for you!

(Listen to the newest episode on Spotify by clicking here. Listen on Apple Podcasts by clicking here.)

Many of us are walking around thinking we are the ones defeated when in reality we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus according to Romans 8:37!

So this is your friendly to put your mind back on the right things + to praise God even in the midst of the struggle, the frustration, the chaos, and of course the good times too.

Want the quick notes on the details of this episode? Here they are:

  • Jesus has given us the garment of praise but it is up to you to put it on + utilize it

  • Sometimes God chooses to answer our prayers immediately and sometimes there is a waiting period instead. Either way, choose to allow God's truth to lead you instead of your feelings because your feelings are a terrible leader!

  • Whatever we focus our attention on we feed and whatever we feed will grow. Use Philippians 4:8 as a verse to meditate on, memorize, and use as a filter so you know where your attention + focus should go

  • Psalm 40:1-3 talks about God bringing David out of a miry pit and how God places a new song in his mouth. I shared my own personal testimony on this and how I sang the new song God gave me in the midst of feeling overwhelm + God really strengthened me to finish the task at hand!

  • Bonus: Sometimes we need to just have the mindset that we are getting something done because it needs to get done and that's that. Meaning: we do not have to complain + grumble about things that have to get done when we don't really want to do them or we don't feel like doing them. Why? Because those negative complaints + thoughts cause us to slow down and procrastinate on the task.

These are the highlights, but the whole episode is πŸ”₯FIREπŸ”₯ so here are the links to listen to the whole episode again πŸ’• :
