Hi beautiful!

I know it’s been a couple of weeks since I sent you a pep talk (I was going to send it yesterday but thought it would be best to send it first thing this morning instead!), but the Lord has been working on me behind the scenes. Has it been that way for you lately, Reader?

​
Historically speaking, I tend to rush ahead of the Lord concerned mostly about the time investment of something. So what tends to be on my mind? Questions like:

• How quickly can I get something up and running?
• How quickly will I receive a return on my investment?
• Will my investment be multiplied quickly?

​

From a business perspective these are not always bad things to ask or contemplate, but with these questions usually come the pressure of just trying to get something done as fast as possible. And if you know something about the Lord, He usually doesn't just do things overnight without diligent preparation beforehand.

​

And God gave me grace in previous seasons to get some things up and moving with that "fast-paced focused" mentality. But this season is quite a bit different, and I think that is why I have stumbled over myself a bit in some of the things I have been trying to do. Because God is saying "Slow down and get the new plans from Me. We are re-building now."

​

I see you, I hear you, and I am right there with you in the refiner's fire (meaning you are not alone). 💕

Remember: It is ok a good thing to build behind the scenes and in the secret place with the Lord before anyone else sees anything. That's where God does some of His best work. 🙏 🙌
